Bloomington, Minn. (Nov. 13, 2000) — With new men’s styles straight from Germany’s catwalk, the much anticipated BOSS Hugo Boss shop will open at the Mall of America on the first floor near Nordstrom Court on Saturday, Nov. 18, 2000. BOSS Hugo Boss offers a signature look for active men demanding well-designed style using high-tech fibers, leather and cashmere.

The Mall of America’s BOSS Hugo Boss shop will be the second largest BOSS shop in the country and will offer the most complete selection of BOSS suits, sportswear, outerwear and accessories available in Minnesota. “Our BOSS Hugo Boss shop offers progressive clothing for active men who appreciate style and want to enjoy a fresh look,” said Cedric Kirchner, president of the Mall of America BOSS Hugo Boss shop. “BOSS Hugo Boss fashions represent some of the finest clothing in the world. We are very excited to join this fast growing company that has reported 816 million deutschemarks (DEM) in worldwide sales during the first half of this year. We are joining a family of 360 existing worldwide Hugo Boss shops and have the unique opportunity to bring these clothes to local consumers and others visiting the mall from throughout the world.”

Because the Mall of America attracts upscale shoppers, not only from Minnesota but worldwide who seek unique retail experiences, the BOSS Hugo Boss shop’s fine merchandise has received a warm welcome. Along with the BOSS shop, a HUGO Hugo Boss shop opened in October, also located in Nordstrom Court. The HUGO shop offers spirited clothing for men and women with a fashion forward edge such as high-tech fibers, hidden functions (pocket compartments for cell phones, Palm Pilots or cash) or 3D-effects.
